Import Sale<\/span><\/h3>\n

To add bulk sales to the system, you can use this feature.<\/p>\n

Steps to import sale:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Go to Sale > Import Sale.<\/p>\n

Click the \u2018Download Template\u2019 button to download the template file.<\/p>\n

Once downloaded, open it and add the required details. While adding the details follow the instructions mentioned on the import sale page itself.<\/p>\n

Save the excel file and upload it by clicking the choose file button and pressing submit button.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> It may display some error after uploading if some data added in the excel file are not as per mentioned in the instructions.<\/p>\n

Change it accordingly and proceed.<\/p>\n

\u201cGroup sell line by\u201d field in import sale:<\/span><\/h3>\n

While importing an Excel file for import sale you have to select the option \u201cGroup Sell Line By<\/strong>\u201c.<\/p>\n

This field is used for the system to know which lines need to be in a single sale.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

For example, if you add an Invoice_Number<\/strong> column in the Excel import file, then all lines from one sale will have the same Invoice_Number<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In this case, you need to select Invoice_Number <\/strong>option in the \u201cGroup Sell Line By\u201d <\/strong>dropdown field.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou cannot select a field twice<\/strong>\u201d Issue and Solution:<\/span><\/h3>\n

You may encounter this issue while you import an Excel file using the Sale Import feature.<\/p>\n

This issue happens when the same option name is chosen for multiple columns in the import table<\/p>\n
