Browser\/Desktop notification using the pusher<\/span><\/h1>\n

Browser notification helps the user to get notified of any notification quickly.<\/p>\n

Requirement:<\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

Your POS must use https<\/strong> or must have an SSL certificate installed.<\/p>\n

Steps to enable it:<\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

Setup pusher: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Signup for a pusher account here https:\/\/pusher.com\/<\/li>\n
    2. Login to your pusher account.<\/li>\n
    3. Click on \u201cCreate new app\u201d<\/li>\n
    4. Enter the details:
      \nName your app,<\/em>
      \nSelect a cluster, <\/em>
      \nWhat\u2019s your front-end tech?<\/em> will be jQuery
      \nWhat\u2019s your back-end tech?<\/em> will be Laravel.
      \nClick on \u201cCreate my app\u201d and after that, you will find the pusher details as given in the screenshot below\\<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Setup in Xodox POS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. If you\u2019re using the SaaS-Superadmin<\/a> module then go to
        \nSuperadmin Settings -> Pusher Settings -> Enter the details:
        \nPUSHER APP ID, PUSHER APP KEY, PUSHER APP SECRET, PUSHER APP CLUSTER and save it.<\/li>\n
      2. If not using SaaS-Superadmin, then login to cpanel\/directadmin or FileZilla, open the .env<\/strong> file present in the pos code for editing. Then you will find the pusher related configuration. Enter the below configuration:
        \nBROADCAST_DRIVER=pusher
        \nPUSHER_APP_ID=<your pusher app id>
        \nPUSHER_APP_KEY=<your pusher app key>
        \nPUSHER_APP_SECRET= <your pusher app secret>
        \nPUSHER_APP_CLUSTER=<your pusher app cluster>Save the file and the notification will work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        NOTE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Pusher notifications will not support on IOS devices. You need to disable pusher notifications in IOS for Xodox POS.<\/p>\n
