What is a Purchase Order?<\/span><\/h2>\n

A purchase order is a document given by the buyer (usually you) to the supplier to request a purchase of goods.<\/p>\n

A purchase order contains the buyer invoicing details, delivery details, products, quantities, pricing, tax, discounts, payment terms, payment details, shipping charges if any, and other notes.<\/p>\n

The supplier will issue a sales order against the purchase order you have provided.<\/p>\n

A purchase order has multiple statuses: Ordered, Partial, Completed<\/p>\n

Enabling Purchase Order<\/span><\/h2>\n

To enable purchase Order, follow the below steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to Settings -> Business Settings<\/li>\n
  2. Purchase tab -> Enable Purchase Order<\/li>\n
  3. Save it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Using Purchase Order in Xodox POS<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Creating purchase order<\/span><\/h3>\n

    After Enabling Purchase order, inside Purchase you\u2019ll find the Purchase -Order menu.<\/p>\n

    Go to add Purchase order, fill in all the details and save it.<\/p>\n

    Stocks are not added on issuing Purchase orders.<\/p>\n

    Once a Purchase order is created you can print it and send it to the supplier.<\/p>\n

    On receiving Purchase orders the supplier issues a sales or invoice.<\/p>\n

    2. On Selecting it will populate the list of all Purchase orders related to the supplier on the \u201cPurchase Order\u201d dropdown.<\/li>\n
    3. Select the Purchase Order and it will auto load the products for that order with the product\u2019s price, tax, discounts applied automatically as the sales order.<\/li>\n
    4. You can increase or decrease the quantity.<\/li>\n
