What is a Sales Order?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Sales Order is a document given by the supplier to the buyer against a Purchase Order by the buyer.<\/p>\n

A sales order contains the buyer invoicing details, delivery details, products, quantities, pricing, tax, discounts, payment terms, payment details, shipping charges if any, and other notes.<\/p>\n

Once the buyer agrees on the sales order, goods are shipped by the supplier.<\/p>\n

Sale order has multiple statuses: Ordered, Partial, Completed<\/p>\n

Enabling Sales Order<\/span><\/h2>\n

To enable Sales Order, follow the below steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to Settings -> Business Settings<\/li>\n
  2. Sales tab -> Enable Sales Order<\/li>\n
  3. Save it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Using Sales Order in Xodox POS<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Creating sales order<\/span><\/h3>\n

    After Enabling sales order, inside Sales you\u2019ll find the Sales-Order menu.<\/p>\n

    Go to add sales order, fill in all the details and save it.<\/p>\n

    Stocks are not deducted for sales orders.<\/p>\n

    Once a sales order is created you can print it and send it to the buyer for approval.<\/p>\n

    Converting Sales Order to Sales<\/span><\/h3>\n

    On approval of sales orders, you can create sales from the sales order.<\/p>\n

    1. Go to Sales -> Add sales, select the business location & Customer.<\/li>\n
    2. On Selecting it will populate the list of all sales orders related to the customer on the \u201cSales Order\u201d dropdown.<\/li>\n
    3. Select the Sales Order and it will auto load the products for that order with the product\u2019s price, tax, discounts applied automatically as the sales order.<\/li>\n
