If you are using at least latest update,<\/strong> we have added a feature for email queue to speed up the email sending process.<\/p>\n

Very common issue is when the system is sending a lot of emails, eq when a new comment on task, or task status is changed, the system will send an email to task creator, task followers, task assignees etc\u2026<\/p>\n

This action may be time-consuming when it\u2019s related to email sending, the system will need time to connect to the email server and sends the emails, the time taken for this action really depends from email server to email server, some servers performs the action faster.<\/p>\n

The email queue feature will store the emails and all contents in the database\u00a0<\/strong>and when the cron\u00a0job will run<\/strong>, the emails will be sent in the background, in this case, the users won\u2019t notice any slowness.<\/p>\n

To enable email queue feature you need to navigate to Setup->Settings->Email<\/strong> and click on the Email Queue<\/strong> tab and set\u00a0Enable Email Queue<\/strong> to YES.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that after enabling the email queue feature the emails won\u2019t be sent immediately, there will be a time difference in 5 minutes till the cron job run.<\/div>\n

Do not add emails with attachments in the queue<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Most likely you will encounter problems with the email queue if the system needs to add big files to the queue.
